Dr Rajesh Rajora, Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion, Govt of Madhya Pradesh visited the National Institute of Design Madhya Pradesh (NID MP) on 23 October 2019, Wednesday to inaugurate the newly constructed ‘Multi Facility Rejuvenation Centre’, in which facilities such as gym equipment, indoor sports equipment, musical instruments and various other recreational means have been provided for the Institute community. He also witnessed a musical presentation and zumba dance demonstration performed by students.
While addressing the students during the event, the visiting dignitary emphasised on the need to take the academic rigour in a positive spirit. He urged the faculty and students to work hard to make NID Madhya Pradesh as one of the most sought after NIDs in India. Dr Rajora visited Library, Workshops, Auditorium and other parts of the campus and was briefed on current status of ongoing construction activity by Prof Dhiraj Kumar, Director NID MP.
He participated in Green Drive by planting a tree. Dr Rajora congratulated the students and staff of NID MP for keeping the campus clean and green. A memento was presented to him by the Director NID MP on this occasion.
